Gearing up for the Great Australian Run

Gearing up for the Great Australian Run

November 29th sees the second staging of the Great Australian Run. Thousands of enthusiastic, fundraising, fun runners will once again weave their way around Melbourne, led by some of the world’s greatest Olympians, including Australia’s own distance heroes.

Building on last year’s successful inaugural event new features will be added in 2009 including Junior and Family runs, wheelchair race and Corporate Challenge. This year the main race will include Athletic Australia’s National Road Running Championships too.

Starting and finishing in Albert Park, the 15k course takes in some of Melbourne’s best and most famous sights.
